Legal Services Board Regulatory Restrictions in Practising Rules for In-house Lawyers

The IP Federation has submitted a response to the discussion paper of the Legal Services Board: “Are Regulatory Restrictions in Practising Rules for In-house Lawyers Justified?” The closing date for receipt of views is 24 April 2015.

It is of particular importance to Federation members that the existing exemption in relation to handling of complaints and professional indemnity insurance should be maintained in the IPReg Rules of Conduct (and if anything extended).
